Week 1
June 5 – 9 (8 – 11 years old)
The first week of sailing camp for 8-11 year olds is an exciting opportunity for kids to learn new skills and make new friends. From June 5 to June 9, campers will have the chance to learn the basics of boating and sailing, including safe boating practices, teamwork, and how to care for boating equipment. With highly trained and certified instructors, kids will gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
The first week of sailing camp is the perfect opportunity for beginners to get started with boating and sailing, and for experienced sailors to improve their skills and take on new challenges. Kids will have the chance to explore the outdoors, develop their confidence and independence, and experience the joy of sailing. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced sailor, the first week of sailing camp is an experience they won’t want to miss. Join us from June 5 to June 9 for a week of fun and learning on the water!
Week 2
June 19 – 23 (11 – 18 years old)
Welcome to Week 2 of our Sailing Camp, designed specifically for 12-18 year olds! If you missed our Week 1, which was for 8-11 year olds, don’t worry – you’re still welcome to join us for an exciting week of sailing.
Our experienced instructors will create a safe and supportive environment for our young sailors to practice basic boat handling skills, including how to steer, control the sails, and tie knots. We’ll also teach campers about the different parts of the boat and how to work together as a team to keep the boat moving smoothly.
To keep things fun and engaging, we’ll also have plenty of opportunities for kayaking, swimming, and other activities, both on and off the water. Our aim is to provide a positive experience where our campers can develop new skills, make friends, and have a blast! So come join us for Week 2 of our Sailing Camp and let’s explore the world of sailing together!
Week 3
June 26 – 30 (9 – 18 years old -advanced)
Welcome to Week 3 of our Sailing Camp, designed for more advanced sailors who have attended our camp in the previous year or have received private instruction from our ECSC counselors.
If you meet these criteria, you’re in for an exciting week of sailing! From the first day of camp, we’ll be out on the water as much as weather permits, honing our skills and taking on new challenges.
Our experienced instructors will focus on refining your sailing techniques and helping you master more advanced skills, like sail trim and racing strategies. We’ll also introduce you to a variety of conditions and challenges, including wind shifts and more complex maneuvers.
Of course, we believe in having fun too! We’ll also spend plenty of time enjoying kayaking, swimming, and other activities, both on and off the water. And as always, we’ll create a supportive, positive environment where you can make new friends and explore your passion for sailing.
So if you’re ready to take your sailing skills to the next level, join us for Week 3 of our Sailing Camp from June 26-30. Let’s hit the water and make some waves!
